How could I not post this picture.

blue blazer

A-Man got this little blazer for christmas from his grandma. He is such a little man in it. It is quite the trick to take a picture of andy these days. I'm not sure where he learned to say "cheese" but he yells it as he is running towards me, prior to any picture being taken.

Andy is into picking out his own outfits and on sunday he did not want to put his white shirt on until he realized he got to wear his tie and jacket like daddy.

LOST STARTS TONIGHT!

I am sooo excited for the new season of lost which starts tonight! Best show on tv. It has been being advertised as a 2 hour premier but I was sad to find out the first hour is a recap. You can check out past episodes and see clips for tonight here http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index?pn=index.

bye-bye

So Andy is like his dad, when he wakes up in the morning he likes to get going. By about 7am he is ready for a shower, clothes, and to go bye-bye. This wasn't a problem when the weather was nice because we could go outside and play and he was content. But this whole winter thing is another story. We haven't seen our grass since Dec. 1 when it started snowing and my California blood has a hard time hanging out in 22 degree weather. This week Andy and I were both pretty sick and not wanting to infect we have stayed mostly at home. Well Andy has been going nuts. He decided if he couldn't go bye-bye, he would go to work. In this picture he found one of Kent's belts and is trying to put it on as a tie. He just kept yelling work, work.

backyard sledding

Last weekend we went sledding around our house. We have a little slope in our front yard that we can kinda sled down and this is Kent pulling Andy around the backyard. It was hilarious. I have a great video clip of this but for some reason I am not cool enough to make it post. You all make it look so easy.

contraband

We had our first shoplifting experience yesterday. Andy loves the grocery carts with the car at the front. He will actually stay in them for five minutes when we are at the store. I learned they also make for easy access to the candy isle at checkout. Well Andy managed to swipe candy in the shape of a bottle and keep it out of my line of vision all the way home.

Adios Johnsons

Our good friends Tim and Niccole Johnson moved back to California today and we will miss them so much. Niccole, Jo (another friend) and myself all grew up in Orange County. Just over a year ago Jo moved to Salt Lake from Logan and Niccole got married and moved to SLC with her hubby and then Kent and I moved her from AZ. It has been a fun year hanging with the girls just like old times. The first picture is of us girls back in '98 and the other is last weekend at Niccole and Tim's going away party.

Snow Days

We have had some more snowy days and Andy-man loves the snow (until he gets cold). He pushes his face up to the back door and yells nose, nose (his word for snow) until we bundle up and go outside. He especially likes to eat it, laying flat on his stomach, chompin away. Unfortunately he is not particular about the quality of snow he is eating.

WE DID IT!

This thing is finally up and running. And I am proud to say no intervention was needed (Tingeys and Webbs). But I do hope I am better at blogging than I am at journaling (sorry mom, you tried).
